Roberto Paciullo’s hometown of Salerno is transported to the streets of Manhattan. Zero Otto Nove is the second outpost of his famous restaurants from Arthur Ave. in the Bronx. From the atmosphere to the food, stopping by Zero Otto Nove is taking a quick trip to Italy. The wood-burning brick oven is at the center turning out classics like the Margherita, and Roberto's originals, such as La Riccardo with butternut squash puree, smoked mozzarella, spicy pancetta, and basil. All the pastas are homemade, and all ingredients are brought in from New York's Real Little Italy, Arthur Avenue.

    Been here a few times. Not overly impressed. Pizza's were soggy, not crisp. Salads were ok. Chicken parm was overcooked, rubbery.The food is OK, just not extraordinary. The one on Arthur Avenue is much better.

    We used to regularly go here for its proximity to a theater venue we prefer. We've not been back for a couple of years due to living abroad. Nothing has changed. The service and food are excellent. We were surprised to learn our server was new. She was a total pro, keeping standards we grew to respect over that last 10 years high.

    Been here several times - great for groups, two people or even solo. The food is always excellent and the service is great too. The radiatore is one my favorite pasta dishes in nyc.
