   They do such a great job at Trattoria Dell'Arte. It's been around a long time and has a great Italian niche. The servers are so experienced, so engaging and deliver a hassle free experience. The appetizer bar is excellent although there has been portion shrinkage. The Italian wedding soup was outstanding as well as their chicken parm which is a pepperoni pizza with chicken serving as the crust. Drinks were all made well. Definitely a New York staple. You can't go wrong.

   Simply amazing. First, they ask how you want to sit. “Warm & cozy” or “Active” or etc. They sat us in a very “warm & cozy” atmosphere, private & secluded, as I requested, but there are other parts of the restaurant that is more lively. Server came right away, no wait. Drinks, apps, entree, and dessert - all no wait. Bus boy actively filled water, new utensils between each course, and server was friendly & professional. The food was very very delicious. 3-course or from menu option. Drinks & cocktails menu was good. If you go, you have yo get the garlic bread. The bread melts in your mouth. Highly recommend it. Across the street from Carnegie Hall.

   One of our favorite restaurants in NYC (we've eaten there dozens of times) seems to have gone down hill. Food was spotty at best. Osso bucco was awful (tasted like burnt meat), and both the caprese salad and spaghetti & meatballs were totally bland. Chicken Parm and cannolis were excellent - but for prices like these, only 2 dishes out of 6 or 7 being good doesn't cut it. Service is still good, and it's still a fun ambience. But the restaurant was half empty by 8pm on a Thursday night, putting a crimp on the otherwise fun ambience. They need to revitalize something. A new executive chef may be a good start.

   Always a Delight to dine here... from the Desk to the Table... the Service is attentive, informed, and gracious and never rushed ...the Menu is expansive and delivers what it says... terrific food beautifully presented.... its my "go to" place anytime i'm going to a concert at Carnegie or just hungry in the Neighborhood... 5***** aren't enough praise..

   We were seated at a booth as requested in the reservation. The service was excellent. Most of the food was excellent. The lasagna was lukewarm.

   A fantastic experience. I was invited last week by a client and I returned bringing another today. The cuisine is outstanding highly recommend the Salmon, although all the other dishes were amazing. Johnny our server remembered me from last week and was so attentive. Literally from the hostess to the end of the meal, it was a magnificent experience.
