Trattoria Carina is a casual neighborhood Italian restaurant from the same family as Pub & Kitchen, focused on providing delicious food and a welcoming atmosphere at a great value. Located on the corner of 22nd and Spruce, it’s a charming and easygoing 32-seat trattoria, whose name means “Little Darling” in Italian. The menu changes seasonally, but always features a variety of homemade pastas and classic Italian dishes made up of the freshest ingredients. Trattoria Carina has a small bar program, featuring Italian wines by the glass, seasonal beer options, and a selection of cocktails including Negronis and Aperol spritzes. Should guests choose to BYO, there is no corkage fee. Trattoria Carina is open seven days a week for dinner starting at 4:30 PM.

    We loved everything about it. Highly recommend the Chicken Parm. The Spicy crab pasta sauce was a little too sweet and needed more crabmeat.

    The chicken milanese was remarkably good - stayed crunchy even after sitting under the greens for 20 minutes while I ate it. Husband loved the fish. We were very impressed and felt it was a great value. We'll definitely be back in the future.

    Staff was very kind. The food was disappointing for the price and the emphasis they put on it being made there. I believe it was made there, but I don’t believe it never touched a freezer which undercuts the quality. The big mark against it was they gave my partner something with meat on it after we said our dietary restriction and double checked. The staff was very nice about fixing it, but it was unfortunate it happened regardless. The seating was also insanely tight so it’s hard to have a good conversation there and not bump the people next to you. I think overall there’s potential, but they need to align their actions with their branding and price point.

    Exceptional! My mom and I had a fantastic dinner last night. Highly recommend the bolognese. so so good!

    Food is unbelievably good! Have visited twice, and everything on the menu is delicious. Chicken and parm is a large serving and sooo good. Butternut squash soup with brown sugar is like having dinner and dessert at the same time. Salads are larger portions if you want to share. Drinks were also great. Seating is a little tight/close to other people, but not a negative for me at all. Great little spot!’
