   Had a great drunken shrimp salad and wine. Came for the Thursday night "review" which was kind of disco themed that night. Had a good time and was offered a rum sample too!

   Place needs to decide what it wants to be. Trying to be a distillery, bar with karaoke,and a restaurant. That small a space and it doesn't work. Food was good. Servers tried hard but they need help

   The Open Table information and pictures for this restaurant are very misleading. First, there is no outdoor seating although open table has this as an option. Second, the pictures of food shown here are not pictures of dishes from this restaurant. Toppers does not serve lobster. It does not use modern square plates or plate the food in a way that is artistic. One example- we ordered shrimp cocktail. It was served on a plain diner-style plate, 5 soggy lukewarm shrimp on leaves of iceberg lettuce. I would compare this to a rundown diner or dive American restaurant. Only good part of this experience was friendly staff. Do not recommend.

   small seating area with high ceilings and no window coverings. acoustics were not the best and almost no ambiance in the overpowering white walls and ceiling. The food was ok at best with one appetizer over cooked, one of our 3 mains overcooked (asked for medium and got well) another main undercooked (asked for well and got medium rare) the third main was flavourless and not very appetizing. The staff never came back to ask us if we wanted drink refills which was fine because they came in small plastic cups anyway. The owner of the establishment was in the house at the time sipping drinks at the bar. the staff seemed to pay more attention to him and his company than they did patrons. The rum in the front of the house was the best part. The 3 of us in my party were not impressed at all and would not recommend eating here.

   The ladies at the front desk was so rude. Like I was bothering them when I walked in or something. I think there needs to be better customer service especially with first timers. When I walked in with my friends I was greeted with nasty stares. I booked online for 7:30 not realizing I had to book separately for the distillery tour. Before I could even get my words out this lady made sure to let me know “we don’t have a tour at 7:30 you don’t have a tour w. Us. Go to the restaurant” I wanted to ask her a question and didn’t just because her energy was horrible. Thank god the workers in the restaurant was soooooo nice. They actually made us enjoy this establishment. They should be working in the front those workers on Friday Nov 1st @7:30. Yeah they’re nasty.

    Had an amazing time at Tooper’s tried it for the first time on our vacation. Ending up going additional 3 nights in our week trip. Carol was amazing she was the bartender and waitress. She was one of the main reasons we kept coming back. The service was fabulous the food was amazing. There Rhum is amazing we ended up taking some bottles home. If you have not tried it please do you will love it. We will be returning and it will be one of our first stops. Thank you for amazing experience will see you soon.
