    This is my favourite cafe not only in Melbourne but the world! Thr hotcake is the dish I always get!!! If I was on death row this would be my last meal! The best!!!

    Service was prompt and efficient .. but nothing to write home about. Food came out quickly and looked pleasant .. but for almost $30 each (I added avocado and my mate added bacon to two $23 dishes) I wouldn’t say it was great value for money. Bigger portions or a lower price point is needed. I’ve had way bigger and tastier brunches for way cheaper and l left more satisfied. For $6 two scrawny pieces of bacon isn’t just. Atmosphere is good. Price point is just way askew

    Service was aggressive and confusing. When we were seated our waitress asked if we would like to order drinks - we replied sure to which our waitress yelled at us “Well tell me what you want then!” Later when we ordered food we asked to swap out the eggs for one of the sides options and our waitress replied authoritatively “I’m not doing that. I’ll remove the eggs and still charge you for the full meal and if you want a side, I’ll charge you for the sides”. We didn’t deserve to be spoken to like that and are honestly baffled by the experience.

    I find it concerning the change in this restaurant . I have been here several times and the food has lessened In quality and choice. The service was such that you couldn’t even get lactose free milk . The staff never came back to see if we needed more coffee etc I am really sorry to say how disappointed it was given we spent $70.00 I would expect much better quality food; larger menu and a decent lactose free coffee . I hood you can improve use to be my happy place not so now.

    Food is good as always, we had issues with service where the waiter incorrectly gave the wrong coffee and forgot the add ons for the food

    My brunch was so cold. Also, the space is very loud - some may enjoy that but makes a catch up hard work as you have to yell to have a conversation.
