   The menu changed since we were there last and, in our opinion, it took away from the experience we were accustomed to. The escargot changed and admittedly we did not read the menu, so it was a surprise and ultimately disappointing that it wasn’t the preparation we expected. Same with the desserts. We came to Top Cut because it’s extremely difficult to find any restaurant that serves soufflé as dessert. We get there to find that it’s been removed from the menu. Extremely disappointing. We tried a chocolate mousse that was a replacement (or some banana dessert) and were less than impressed. I will say, the main course was flawless. That remained strong and delicious. It’s just sad when you grow to love an experience and cuisine to find it to be different than the “tried and true”. It really is frustrating and disappointing.

   The food was all very good and everything tasted so good. The view if the mountains was very nice. The server was very professional. We were there to celebrate my 24 year old twin son’s birthday and they enjoyed it very much. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

   This was our first time dining at Top Cut. Our excitement dwindled quickly as the atmosphere was very loud. It was difficult to hear what the waiter was saying. My husband ordered his steak done medium, mine was medium well. When served, his steak was more rare and mine was well done. Certainly not worth the price.

   This restaurant is not worth your money. The food was either overcooked or undercooked. The service was so slow it was painful. We had a 6:15 reservation and we didn’t get done until 9pm. I truly don’t understand, why ask if we are celebrating something and they do absolutely nothing after spending so much money. Go to the restaurant below, MELT. Never again.

To address your concerns, from the time your party was seated to when the bill was paid, the total duration was 2 hours, which is typical for a 3-course meal for 8 people. We had actually allotted 3 ½ hours for your group, so the overall timing was within expectations. Regarding the complimentary dessert, we do offer this for birthdays and anniversaries, but unfortunately, we are unable to extend this offer to every type of celebration. We truly appreciate your understanding.    Top Cut has gone downhill. The wines are expensive and they are not very good. The food is good but takes too long to come out of the kitchen. It’s very noisy in there. I prefer downstairs at Melt…… for food, ambiance and wine. Too Cut is priced too high for what it’s worth.
