    Absolutely thrilled that Toonez Chophouse is in Marion, NC. A fabulous addition. Steak was cooked a perfect medium rare with excellent flavor and juicy tenderness. Twice baked potatoes and fried squash were perfect. Salads were fresh and full of great ingredients. Highly recommend. We will be back frequently. Drinks were also on point and our server checked on us just the right amount.

    The restaurant was good but not great for the price. The food was well cooked but relatively bland. Good drinks!

    We totally enjoyed our dinner. I was disappointed no one sang happy birthday to my roommate or acknowledge the special occasion but the delicious steal dinner and service made up for it. The food was served pleasantly and we head a wonderful time. Big ole pretzel was a treat!

    This is a good place to eat. The food is well prepared and fresh, the service is friendly and the atmosphere is warm and peaceful.

    Great food and service. Collard greens were the best we’ve had and the ribeye rivals Longhorn and Ruth’s Cris. We made a reservation and there was zero wait. Great dining experience!

    Grilled chicken could of used more taste. Maybe when you put down an Anniversary in your table reservations put a table cloth or something to make it feel more elegant. The waiter and Hostess were very nice. Also you should never pour your wine at the bar. Bring the bottle to the table and poor it there. It just is more appreciated. The outside was awesome. I believe you all will have a la a lasting relationship with McDowell.

    We visited for lunch as wanted to try the new restaurant. Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch so much that we booked a table for the next day Brunch and brought friends! Both meals were very nice. Food very good, high quality ingredients and cooked to perfection. Family owned, great experience. Look forward to returning for dinner!

    Pickles were great, wife loved balsamic dressing with salad, steak was delicious and grilled chicken very good. Will be back.
