What a fun and delicious experience. The steak and seafood were moderately seasoned and cooked. The chef was entertaining and skilled. Our party left full and laughing.

Our chef Sonny is by far the best. Food was amazing and service was pretty good. Only downfall was the 20% service charge that was not disclosed during the online reservation or at check in. Asked the waitress and she said it was because of the holiday. I still tipped the waitress but was surprised to see an extra $30 on the bill for a party of 4 without any signage at the restaurant or information during booking process.

I have tried several teppanyaki restaurants and Tokyo Japanese Steak House is among the best. While it’s a great place for celebration, we found it to be just a great place for anytime dinner or lunch. The Mio sake is a nice sparkling sake that is ordered every time we go there. The jumbo lobster tail is huge, and the talk of the table, if you enjoy eating lobster then treat yourself to it. The tuna steak is also favorite as it’s not always found at other restaurants so it’s one we order often.

We were charged a Service Charge we were not made aware of. We left a tip. Did not realize till we left. Trying to get a refund for Service Charge.

One of our favorite places to take friends/visitors and to celebrate special occasions. As usual, the entertainment provided by the chef preparing our meals was top notch, and all the food was exceptional. I'm especially fond of filet mignon with scallops or shrimp, but everything is tasty.
