Food overall is fine but definitely overpriced. Quality is also not up to par with other nearby diners like Phoebes. I had the French toast and the stuff on top was good but the bread itself was very stiff. Challah French toast is supposed to use day-old challah but this felt like it had been waiting much longer before it was cooked.

Reasonable portions! Well-seasoned, crispy hash browns! Omelettes perfectly home-made in appearance and top-tier in flavor! Most excellent breakfast sandwiches! GLORIOUSLY FLUFFY PLATE-SIZED PANCAKES, RICH WITH BUTTERMILK AND VANILLA. Dost thou want to dine deliciously, in a bright, cozy atmosphere? If so, get thyself to Toasty Badger post-haste.

I took my 3 teenagers here for breakfast. Food was good , but seemed pricey for the amount. I had the avocado toast it was great, two kids had the griddle cakes and dint like them. My other son had the overnight oat. They were good but pretty sweet. It’s a tiny restaurant and really loud! Reminded me of my house in the 70s

Our food was amazing, service was the best I’ve had in 10 years anywhere in the US. Griddle cake was as BIG as my head. New Austin fav🤘🏼
