   The food is absolutely fantastic. Service was a little slow but they made up for it. If my GF was pleased then this place is great. Would definitely go back.

   We have been to Tin fish many times , loved it, but this time the food and service were inferior to what we had experienced before. What happened? We would be curious to know.

   I have now been to Tin Fish about five times. The fish is always cooked perfectly, which in my experience, is often hard to find. The service is friendly and the staff is accommodating.

   Reservation was for 6:30pm on a Sunday We were seated promptly Water and menus came quickly Waiter took orders We were served at 8:30om Food was fantastic but service was not No bread on table no refill on water no one coming over to say we’re sorry for the delay Management did give a credit towards the bill I would have preferred to be served timely

   Unfortunately, like so many Florida restaurants, they are staffed by inexperienced young people who mean well but are not attentive. Service was very slow even though when we arrived it was very quiet. Food was not exceptional but pretty good for a neighborhood restaurant. Very tiny tables for two. Not enough room and crammed together so that no one was able to pass between my chair and the next table which didn’t stop at least 5 people from stuffing themselves between me and the next table. If you live close by give it a try. Otherwise I wouldn’t travel the distance I did to return any time soon.

    Our waiter was beyond overwhelmed. We were worried he might be having a nervous breakdown. He kept stopping at our table to take our order and would mumble about something then fly off and we sat quite a long time before ordering appetizers then even longer prior to ordering entrees. There was a young lady named Emma who came to our rescue and helped us with the menu and we want to thank her. There was a hostess who was very friendly and we expected so much when we came in especially since we had been there before and had an amazing time. The food is excellent except that we came for the whole fish but our waiter told us after waiting so long to order that it would be at least another hour to get it baked and they normally fry their whole fish which we are not used to but we tried it. We prefer it baked with capers. All in all the food is good, service poor except for the hostess and EMMA who are excellent. We are not sure our friends will go back. We meet then there because it’s in the middle and they were too upset about the service. Our friend said it was the worst service he ever had and he travels all over the world for work.
