   The welcome was professional and friendly. We were invited to sit by the comal to enjoy the tortillas and sauces. Do know that the prices for any drinks they offer you then is on a small chalkboard on the edge of the bar. Prices for drinks are very expensive so be aware. For example, the pour of mezcal was $17 USD! Once seated upstairs, service was a bit slow. It wasn’t full at 6:30 but we all felt dishes were slow to come out. We ordered 3 starters and 2 mains to share. The standout starter was the fresh pumpkin salad. The watercress salad and mixed beans were under seasoned and under flavored for us. For the mains, we got two moles. One had ribs and the other was pork, both on the bone. The mole sauces were flavorful and tasty. However, the meats were both well over cooked to the point it was tough to cut. With enough of the mole sauce, it softened it up a bit. To sum, we were let down based on the expectations going in. It was very expensive (wine, beer, mezcal, and food) and was very hit and miss.

   Muy buena experiencia, con un servicio de excelencia de todo su personal, una manera distinta de hacer un recorrido gastronómico, sin duda un lugar que incluir en una visita a Oaxaca.

   Excelente lugar para comer cosas típicas. Falta un poco de variedad pero se entiende por el concepto. La comida es delicias

   Our meal was terrible, and not as we assumed we were getting from the menu description. Both of us ordered the same item and neither of us finished it due to how poor it tasted, and we were only comped one of the meals. Not at all what we expected from a Michelin starred restaurant.
