   Fish and chip were delicious! Enough for two to share. The salad had way too much dressing on it though, couldn’t eat it.

   One of the best pubs in Charlotte. Only gap is the poor music. Some better music, maybe even traditional Irish some nights would make this fantastic spot even better.

   Hey Graham, Thank you for the 5 stars. We do try to mix in some Irish tunes on our playlist but we also have a live traditional Irish band that plays every second Sunday.    The food wasn’t that great. Everything had great presentation but wasn’t impressed. For the price it was fine. The mussels were probably the best. The Shepards pie needed more meat and less potatoes on top. The stew had way too much rosemary. Cute ambience in the back but more like a romantic pub.

   Decent food but nothing to write home about. Super busy on the weekend’s and very loud. Will continue to go back.

   Best pint of Guinness in Charlotte. You have an old world feel and it’s great to see people talking to each other like they did 100 years ago

   We enjoyed an early dinner at the Workman’s Friend on a Sunday evening. The food was delicious and our server, Gabby, was delightful and helpful. The curried hummus, pub salad, cast iron chicken entree, and Guinness chocolate cheesecake were excellent (we split the chicken entree). The restaurant is boisterous in the bar area, but cozy in the dining area that includes a fireplace. We will be back.
