The Wild Goose Grill is a stylish modern Irish Bistro offering the best of dining experiences in the heart of Ranelagh, Dublin 6. Located directly above McSorleys Public house on Sandford Rd. It is Ranelagh’s most luxurious dining experience. The dining room combines old world charm and elegance with modern comfort in a relaxing and warm atmosphere. The menu is based on classic cooking with the very best of seasonal Irish Produce from local artisan producers with some contemporary twists. It has become a favourite with local residents, local business community and international travellers.

Beautiful starters. Let down by a very “fishy” tasting piece of cod which had me wondering if it was off. Didn’t finish it. Disappointing chips - bland and barely crisp. Deserts a very mixed bag from lovely Crème Brûlée to a leaden dense chocolate “mousse” - quite the most un-mousselike mouse I’ve eaten. Lovely service and the usual ambience spoiled by an understandable Christmas shoutathon, not the restaurants fault!

Three of us had a great meal last night at the Wild Goose Grill. Excellent food, imaginatively presented, attentive service, happy customers, friendly atmosphere, big wine list including some at perfectly reasonable prices. One of us is a vegetarian, and greatly enjoyed the meal, which is not always always the case in restaurants that cater mostly for misguided carnivores. All in all, the place is definitely worth a visit.

We went for the early bird at 5pm . Lovely buzz in the place . Busy . Lively. Friendly. Lovely service . We had the set menu . Good choice. Good food . Only complaint is too much food ! Portions could be smaller. But it's a good complaint.

A warm and inviting atmosphere with a lovely buzz. Food was delicious , great quality and good value. Staff were lovely. A perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Highly recommend.

excellent food lovely ambience cosy setting, wine list excellent ordered a glass of house wine and one of the best I have tasted for a house wine. would highly recommend this restaurant.

Great food, early bird menu good value for money. Wine on upper end of pricey. Staff very attentive. Loads of return customers that appeared to love this eatery. Would recommend.
