   We had a lovely meal in great surroundings with friendly and attentive staff. The food was delicious and everything about our visit to The White Swan was great! We definately recommend a visit.

   Everyone enjoyed their meal, food was great, staff were welcoming and polite and there was a nice ambience, look forward to returning again soon

   Sunday lunch was delicious and both myself and my partner had no trouble with clearing our plates. The portion size of our lunch was very good and all cooked just as we like. The only negatives I would say was that I have never paid for a glass of soda water before and the size of our malteaser cheesecake was embarrassingly small for the £8:95 that we paid for it. I do think a small dessert is good after such a lovely meal but I did feel this was overpriced. Other than those small niggles we had a lovely meal and I would recommend.

   The food was poor. The fish (hake) was dried out, and the veloute was on the side like a lump of cold custard. The mushroom bruschetta lacked mushroom and the classic italian brushcetta style. For those who had the creme brulee, this was also disappointing as was the lemon meringue sundae. We were a group of 12, and we felt a little sad about the food quality. The service was fine though. Maybe we caught the pub at the end of a busy shift?

   Our fifth visit and the food was not up to previous standards. I've had the same dish twice before, it's now plated differently, had less dressing, the paratha was not buttery & flaky but chewy & cold. The chicken was also cold, as it was with salad I just ate it & didn't complain, my bad! Service great, attentative & friendly. But, won't go back.
