   Our food was great, but our server clearly wasn’t excited to be there, throwing around our food and check, and not paying attention to our table at all, and was just overall rude, didn’t smell great either, probably needed some deodorant

   We dine at the Weatherroom 3-4 times a year. It is upscale, and quiet. This is the 2nd time in the last 4-5 years that the food was not hot. The Mahi Mahi was maybe warm as was the Mushroom Risotto and asparagus. We recognized the Host from previous reservations and he seated us quickly, he said he has been there 2 years. The server, Braden was excellent. We did inform him about the temperature of the meal. Unfortunately no management came out to apologize, as the same thing occurred a couple years ago. When we entertain at home, we have a plate warmer that helps keep the food hot before serving to our guests. Most restaurants we frequent often tell us to be careful as the plate is hot. One other issue is the Old Fashioned glass had too much simple syrup and very little bourbon. The outside of the entire glass was sticky with the syrup they must have spilled. We went to "The Knox" and the "Salut Wine and Cocktail Lounge" Both served a better quality Old Fashioned at a lower price. Simply said, disappointed. The atmosphere is always pleasant, the staff is accommodating, the quality of the food is hit or miss.

   I’ve been going there more often and never had a problem. This time they didn’t validate my ID and I had to go home to get my actual passport just for him to tell me I didn’t need it, other than that everything is great and I love the cocktails and appetizers.

   Topeka is lucky to have a place like the Weather Room. The food is usually delicious and the vibes are on another level. Tonight the service was bad and the food was mediocre. It took over an hour to get food and drinks and we had a later reservation so it wasn’t super busy. The people who work here are amazing, but they seemed overwhelmed and there were two or three people serving the entire restaurant. The mushroom pasta was mostly noodles, little sauce, not flavorful, and a few mushrooms. Not worth the $30 price tag. Would love to see better quality food and quicker service.

   Lovely experience in the heart of Downtown Topeka. Very reasonably priced for the amount of food and the quality! My wife got the Candied Pork Chops and I the King Oyster Mushroom Scallop Pasta. Both were excellent! The quality of the cocktails were great as well. A must return when back in Kansas!

   Service was amazing but food was underwhelming especially the caesar salad which had older lettuce and lack of dressing. Half chicken was really good though, and so was presentation. Smells great in the restaurant and it’s not noisy at all which makes for a good conversation. Experience to the dollar lacks here though. May come back, we shall see.

    I celebrated my 30th birthday tonight and it was truly a wonderful experience! The Aperol Spritz was expertly crafted and the Lobster Dip was one of the best dips I have ever had! My partner ordered the Beef Tips and said it was delicious and it was served as a very generous portion. I had the KC Strip and it was perfectly cooked. Finally, we finished the night off with crème brûlée and we were NOT disappointed… truly a wonderful experience, we will absolutely make this a regular spot for dinner!
