   I’m sorry I didn’t get our server’s name but he was the best! Answered all my questions and dealt with all our special requests, even when I changed my mind after ordering initially. The place was less busy than the other restaurant 2 doors down which we appreciated so we could catch up talking. Very nice. Thanks so much for a wonderful brunch experience. Next time - James Beard Pancakes!!

   The Village Bakery and Cafe does not disappoint. Always great service, beautiful comfortable atmosphere and consistent satisfying food. Our favorite go to spot before or after Filloli Garden visit.

   The food, service and ambiance were all excellent. A staff member came by to chat a couple of times and when I said I would have liked it if my cauliflower dish had been a bit spicier, he suggested that next time, we should mention such preferences. We would go there again.

   One of our favorite restaurants in the peninsula. Food and service is always fantastic. Please bring back the French Onion soup!

    Another great evening at Village Bakery! The service is always so good, our meal was amazing and the ambience so warm and cosy as we sat by the fireplace on the back patio. The crab cakes were delicious and the spinach/brussel sprout salad is always a favorite for us!
