   Found an excellent brunch location. Food choices were perfect, cappuccino was spectacular, service was top notch, ambience classic. All the place needs to send it over the top is a live jazz musician.

   A milestone birthday celebration was made so much more special by the generosity of Vandiver and its attentive staff. The French onion soup was the best we've had, and the short rib tortellini was fantastic. This is hands-down the best restaurant now in Clayton. Alex was wonderful throughout our magical evening. I can't recommend this gem highly enough. Stories indeed begin here.

   Was not please with the overall experience. The service was mediocre. The food was average , except for the fries. They were great. Have eaten there numerous times. Our first encounter when vandiver first opened was the best. Since then, it’s slowly been going downhill.

   Food was great, Francisco our server was personable and very attentive. We appreciate his hospitality. The Vandiver is a nice addition to our little town. Will return soon.

   Made a last minute reservation for a Saturday night and were seated at a quiet bar table. Only drawback to this area is that you feel the breeze every time the door opens which was often on a Saturday night. Took awhile to be acknowledged by staff-waters were brought and then took even longer to have server return to order drinks. A little overlap in coursing as we weren’t yet finished with our starters when entrees were dropped. We ended up pouring our own wine as the server wasn’t aware of empty glasses. A few service missteps but the food was delicious. Trout preparation was exceptional and the pork schnitzel was crispy and delicious. We will definitely be back.

   We love this new addition to Clayton! Had a special meal on New Years Day, with homemade pasta, fantastic steak and more. We will be back.

   Fantastic downtown Clayton destination! Food is great and ambience is too! Very upscale yet down home comfortable feeling where staff is welcoming and friendly. A definite must visit while in Clayton! 👍🏻

   Our server Savannah was fantastic the food was great the broccolini was incredible the mashed potatoes were awesome and a steak was cooked to perfection the dessert was fantastic we look forward to eating there again

    Our new favorite place!!! Our waiter, Francisco, was so amazing. We were celebrating a birthday, and had a food allergy in our party. He made sure everyone felt welcomed and went out of his way to ensure that there were options for our allergy guest. My daughter, who was celebrating her birthday was pleasantly surprised to receive not only a personalized card, but also a super cute Swiftie mug. The whole staff was friendly and professional. The food was amazing. Do not miss the hush puppy appetizers and the wings. Both were delicious. We enjoyed beef Wellington, that was perfectly cooked and seasoned, duck cassoulet that was hearty and warm, and flat iron steak that was again cooked to the perfect temperature. The desserts were awesome. Black Forest cake, and the persimmon cake with house-made ice cream were the ones we tried. The next time we come, we’ll try the others. Both desserts were generous in serving sizes and very flavorful. We really enjoyed everything the Vandiver had to offer.
