My wife and I were in Atlantic City for Valentine's Day. We went to The Twenties Italian Bistro for their Valentine's Day dinner special. Nothing was available from the regular menu and my wife was looking for something else. The service was hurried even though the restaurant was only half-full. The dinner rolls were as hard as rocks. My wife got the chicken special, and I got the pork loin special. Her chicken was so over-marinaded that it did not even taste like chicken. The pork loin was very dry with minimal seasoning. The dessert was so-so. All-in-all, it was very disappointing. Many groups left without ordering because the regular menu was not available.

An advertised Valentine’s Day Prix Fixe meal was not offered. This was advertised on the Twenties website itself. The waiter asked us to show him the website ad. Was told the “chef wasn’t prepared for this meal tonight”. Our group of 4 were literally the ONLY patrons in the restaurant, which made us feel uncomfortable and questioned the quality of the food and restaurant itself. Our reservation was 6:30PM. We left at 8:00PM….still no other patrons arrived. Our chicken meal was horrible! Chicken had fat/grizzle and was chewy. Really hard to screw-up chicken…but they did it! I would never eat there again and would never recommend it to others!! With the lack of patrons, and the lack of preparation on the chefs part, I would not be surprised if this restaurant even stays in business.

The restaurant was virtually empty. Our server, Jose, was very attentive, and the food was good. The facility could use an update, but we found that at many AC venues.

The food was good until a loooooong hair was inside my omelette. I was soooooo disappointed. The omelette had nice flavor that I hoped was not from the hair. We returned for breakfast the next day, but I didn't get the eggs.

It wasn’t what I expected it to be. It was empty on a Friday evening, when the entire hotel was booked. The hostess was really sweet and friendly. Our waitress was rude and impatient. I’m guessing the gentleman with the long apron on was the restaurant manager. He didn’t stop once to ask us if we needed anything or if we were enjoying ourselves. But he did stop at the other three tables that were occupied. The food wasn’t great. The best thing were the breadsticks and the Caesar salad. The calamari was fried too hard. The meatballs were dry and the pasta was mushy. It wasn’t worth the prices at all. That was me and my husband’s first time dining there and we said nope, never again.

Maklde a reservation at the 20s restaurant as I heard, the food was very good etc. Upon arriving, the hotel is very old and dated and dirty. Walked into the restaurant and there were 2 other tables of diners, otherwise the place was empty. The interior was beautiful..furniture, etc. But the place had a foul odor to it. We sat down. Waiter brought water and the menu but due to the odor, we decided not to eat there. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant.

The food was so weird. It was empty literally 3 tables including us and the two waiters were stressed out. I will never go back there

This place is a hidden gem. I am so happy to have found my new go to restaurant when I'm in Atlantic City. The restaurant has such a great vibe. Old school charm and elegance and beautifully decorated. The views of the ocean were awesome. Our server was very attentive and pleasant. We ordered the chicken cutlet parmigiana which was outstanding, the sauce was authentic and the pasta that was on the side was excellent. What a great place to dine. Do yourself a favor and give this place a try. The prices were very reasonable for Italian restaurants and for the view and for the excellent food that you're gonna get it is definitely worth your while. I will be returning whenever I'm in Atlantic City.

Sadly when we arrived at the location we were told that the establishment was closed due to on-site productions. We did not reschedule for another day.
