Restaurant is closed and we were never notified, so obviously I would not recommend it!

I am a frequenter of this restaurant. Everything was excellent! Only problem was the temperature in the restaurant. Many diners had their coats on and my fiancee was freezing throughout the dinner.

We booked this reservation for New Years Eve in expectation of having a nice meal at an out of the way quality restaurant. The bulk of the open table reviews were positive but there were enough negative ones to make me question making the reservation but I elected to proceed. Big mistake. The service is untrained, unsure and generally in a state of confusion. The food is mediocre at best with no attempt at presentation or even a hint of pride by the chef in what he is allowing out of his kitchen. The complimentary bread is old and stale. My steak was served over cooked, over salted with ice cold green beans and what appeared to be box quality mash potatoes. My wife's entrée, name escapes me, was a heavily sauced dish consisting of three pieces of shrimp...My dinner was so inedible I had the server just take it away with a recommendation to ensure the chef was aware. One point of credit to the restaurant, they did not charge me for my uneaten entre but there was never any dialogue between myself and restaurant leadership. We left without dessert. As an aside, another table next to ours also left after their appetizer (Cheese & Charcuterie Platter) was delivered frozen to their table (twice). Somehow the bar managed to screw up the making of an Old Fashioned. The drink consisted mostly of soda water and ice. Finally, we overheard one server telling another this was the last night under current ownership as the restaurant was being sold. Given the state of play under current ownership they can only go up from here. Bottom Line: Stay away. Stay away. Stay away.

Paleo's food was excellent. Our table had the caesar salad, Cheese & Meat Charcuterie Plate for appetizers. Then for entrees we had the Pan Seared Salmon, the Filet Mignon , Pasta Bolognese and the Chicken Parmigiana and they all were delicious. The dessert were very good as well.

Palio has expanded downstairs to create Tasting room at Palio, which is a great idea. A Very creative menu, great bar-like ambiance, very nice but not "stuffy". Live music when we were there, not too loud, creates a nice background. Good mix of classic Italian dishes with newer creative dishes.

Wonderful food, excellent service. Local ingredients and made in house desserts. We had a variety of items. Perfectly cooked seafood and steak. Prix fix is a good value. The entire staff is friendly and professional. The lobster ravioli, ribeye steak, and seafood platter are all wonderful.

We shared the daily special appetizer of spicy fried shrimp--delicious! I had the seafood platter--grilled lobster, shrimp, and scallops, plus mashed potatoes--it was divine. My wife had the salmon, and substituted the pesto linguine for the gnocchi--she loved it. We also had a California chardonnay by the glass--quite nice. All in all, it was an excellent meal. We brought home the chocolate cheesecake dessert and had it the next day at home--it was wonderful. I hope the restaurant is successful, it was empty when we got there, and only one other group of four when we left. The food is outstanding.

Although the food was good, it took forever for the courses to arrive. We had a table of six, but 3 and a half hours for our meal from start to finish was extreme. Thank goodness we weren’t in a hurry.

The only negative thing I could say was the sauce on my wife's steak was salty and when she mentioned it the critic was not well received and I doubt it ever got back to the chef.
