The food was below expectations for such a classic venue. Have dined there in the past and enjoy the historic setting but our dinner did not match the surroundings. Service was adequate but notexceptional.

We enjoy taking advantage of area restaurant weeks, but we're rather picky and review menus carefully. The Hotel Bethlehem usually prepares something special for the Historic Bethlehem Winter Restaurant Week, and so we once again chose the Tap Room. We dined mid-week and a little early, so the Tap Room was very quiet. Selections from the restaurant week menu were excellent. We complemented dinner with a wine from what appears to be a carefully curated list, choosing a Tuscan Sangiovese that was excellent. Double-shot cappuccinos accompanied dessert.
