Service, food ambiance were all excellent. The decorations for the holidays were stunning. This is a must see for those not familiar with the Hotel. We have been going for years, a must go to when we are in Town (usually 1-2 times per year). Highly recommend!

Delicious lunch in the beautifully decorated Hotel Bethlehem. Started with the New England Clam Chowder followed by Duck leg pot pie and Ricotta Gnocchi followed by Cherry Cobbler. Drinks were Appletini with Caramel and a Woodford Rye old fashion. Our server was excellent. Can’t wait to return!

We live in Bethlehem and have eaten in the Tap Room on several occasions. This was our 46th anniversary dinner. The dining room had only 4-5 tables filled, but the bar was busy. Overall, the food was very good, but the service seemed to be handled by college aged students without any experience. The bread came to the table without any plates. We ordered PEI mussels, and although we told our server we were sharing the mussels, they came with no plates for either of us, and I had to lean over and use my fingers to snag each mussel. We had to repeat ourselves several times to tell our server we were splitting a Caesar salad and wanted it served with our main course. For some reason, our waiter did not understand. In addition, we were charged an additional $2 for the salad to be split. When our main course came, our dinners were placed on the table, and we had to ask the staff to please remove the empty salad plates. We did not order dessert or coffee just to get away from people at the bar. There were two very, very loud patrons who were yelling and then SNEEZING into open air at least 4-5 times. When we left the dining room, I explained all this to the YOUNG women at the desk who just said they were sorry, and that was it. $175+ for this? The day after this debacle, I cancelled two dinner reservations for the holidays with our family members who are coming from VA and NC.

Food and drinks excellent! Only issue was one of hostesses said she could not give me window seat which i requested in October when reservations made. We were also at bar earlier so as to wait for wi dow table. It all worked out because the other male hostess accomodated us :)

Hostesses were not well organized . We had to wait almost 20 minutes pasted our reservation time because we asked if we could sit at the empty two top at the front window. Hostesses said sure, we will have it cleaned for you. Great! Except we then watched the 2 busboys and some woman clean off and set at least three other tables with people coming in after us being seated first. At the 20 minute mark we asked the hostesses what was going on ?They could see we were annoyed and one of them said “I’m just going to seat you”. The table had sugar packets spilled over it and was sticky. A few minutes later the woman that was helping to set tables came to clean it and made a rude comment that we could have sat at another table. All this could have been avoided if the hostesses had communicated with the bus boy that next up was waiting for the window table. After a sour start, our waiter Josh was fantastic and the food was excellent.
