Established in 1985, and located on Raglan Street, just off Princess Square in the heart of Harrogate, The Tannin Level is one of Harrogate's best loved and most renowned restaurants. Known for its wines (its name is a wine term after all!) as well as its food, it has garnered an enviable reputation amongst the towns sophisticated 'foodies'. The Tannin Level has a certain style and an unmistakable elegance, and its many original features combine to create the unique Tannin Level ambience.
The food is modern British with a Tannin Level twist, utilising only the very best seasonal ingredients, locally sourced wherever possible. As you might expect, all our food is freshly prepared by our chefs, which also means that if you have any special requirements, we can usually oblige.     As usual, everything was first class. The gentleman who looked after our order and the ladies who served our food and drinks were very very helpful and excellent the whole visit. Thank you.

    This was our first visit, heard various great reviews so thought we’d try it out. We were extremely impressed!! We came for the midweek menu which was amazing value for money & absolutely delicious! The service couldn’t have been any better, everyone so polite & lovely! Would definitely recommend!

    Really lovely food, went for Sunday lunch and the roast pork and all the food we ordered was excellent quality, beautifully prepared and presented . Highly recommend for a high standard reasonably priced restaurant in Harrogate.
