   The new premises are so much better. The food is still excellent, we had the lamb and beef, both very tender and beautifully cooked veggies.

   Excellent food and service. Good atmosphere. Well designed space with an inviting foyer. Good choice of food which was cooked to a high standard and delicious. Would definitely go there again and definitely recommend to others!

   Food was good on the whole but nothing like we had before. Disappointed in the change in direction. Why would an establishment like the stubborn duck offer rump steak and at £26, put a sirloin or ribeye on for goodness sake. just don’t get it come on guys. Found it very cold & far to open & loud, and that was with is pretty much empty.

   Considering it was their opening night, it was a pleasant experience. Food was very good and all freshly made. Puddings were the particular highlight. The restaurant was very open, we could see absolutely everyone when entering, no privacy. No softness of tall plants nor screening between few tables for discretion and this also made it extremely noisy. We could not hear the background music at all. Just needs more interest on walls, side tables, lamps were not on although were on side tables. Needs softness and more cushions on chairs for comfort. Unfortunately, the staff did not explain what the pie of the day or fish of the day was and we were left a long time before taking our drinks order. All very easily remedied with a little more experience of now running a much larger establishment. We will return and look forward to an even better dining experience. Was good to see it full too and having to turn away walk ins! We wish you the very best success.
