   The food experience was very nice . Nice food well presented and place was very clean . The fire place on make a big difference to fell so cosy and. Comfortable .

   The food was amazing however we were tucked in a corner where the table next to is had to move their child in order for us to get in and we were left nearly an hour to pay the bill. Such a shame!

   I am a regular lunch diner there bringing my American clients for a traditional English pub experience. The Stag ticks all the boxes.

   Lovely pub with nice ambience. Great sunday roast although they didn't want to swap the meat out with another meat on the menu which was a minor irritant. The only downside for thos pub is that the waiting staff lacked warmth and looked like they didn't want to be there...not sure if was due to staff shortage/off day and we were pretty much the only ones there to start with...otherwise a pleasant experience

   Service staff were good. Manager was excellent. Sadly they forgot the one starter we ordered and 2 of the deserts were cold. The starter was removed from the bill as were the deserts. Sadly this detracted from the overall experience. We would, however, return.

   Our local for many years and always love coming here. Service tonight was excellent and whole experience for me and the family was just great. Highly recommended as is the ‘pie for two’

   We had lunch in the stag on a very busy day. All tables were full and we were allocated a table in the bar area. It was very comfortable and cosy apart from a draft from the windows (which you would expect in an old building, so it was no problem). The food was delicious and the service was good. I would definitely eat here again.

    Excellent food and friendly staff. Great ambiance. I thoroughly recommend the lambs’ kidneys starter. If you’re in Stow you really should have a meal here!
