   Continues to be the best kitchen and most innovative menu in Reno. The sturgeon special was beautiful!

   Was not informed about the chef’s 4 course prix fixe dinner until we were seated. No one explained what the wine was for pairing, also did not get the written amuse bouche. The wagyu tataki had so much fat it was unpalatable. It seemed there were several staff walking around to ensure the guests were enjoying themselves, but the organization and food quality unfortunately suffered. I would have preferred the standard menu items, as they’ve always been delicious. $360 for 2 people.

   Quiet ambience but they changed the menu to small and shared plates> We had the full plate which came with NO sides. The Osso Buco had a good sauce but not even two pieces of broccolini or some mashed potatoes! The Gnocchi was baked with little sauce of any kind. Maybe the restaurant is ow looking for a younger clientele? It was a special birthday dinner for my wife and the good thing was the gratis lemon tart dessert. Nice touch. Waiter was young and new but tried very hard. Other young lady was also inexperienced who came with three dishes and just placed them on the table without asking who had the menu item!

   The food was excellent, beyond our expectations. Rory, our server, was lovely and very attentive. Was a wonderful Christmas dinner

   A party of four enjoyed a fabulous Christmas Dinner 2024. We were greeted with a smile, taken to our table and immediately had menus, water, and drinks. The server was amazing. She took care of our every need. She checked on us several times and made sure we had everything we needed and it was a busy night. The busser was always there picking up dishes and glasses as we finished. The food was excellent, service marvelous and the ambience was great! Great place to dine and we will be back soon.

   The food is yummy and the decorations are beautiful. Timely and good service. Needless to say many large groups who are laughing and whooping it up on endless mimosas. Loud

   I’ve been a long time fan of the shore room however I wasn’t impressed with my last experience. We arrived early, and although tables were available, the hostess would not see us until our actual reservation time. We sat in the bar area and nobody offered us a drink. Hostess chose a table that was quite small and uncomfortable when there were booths available that would not be so cramped. She allowed us to move to the booth. She dumped the napkins in the silverware and said here you go instead of setting it up for us. The young man filling our water glasses spilled all over the table and just walked away without attempting to clean up his mistake. Our waiter was a bit inattentive, slow in taking our order, forgot to bring items , was slow to remove empty plates , etc. The branzino was almost laughable, portion was probably about 2 bites worth. Overall I think the management of the restaurant is lacking. Too many issues overall. Can’t say that I’ll go back anytime soon. Unfortunate because I really like this place.
