   The Ship is a quaint little pub with beams and low ceilings. Beautifully decorated with foliage and fairy lights. The staff are very friendly and attentive and the food is great value and delicious. Not overly busy or noisy even at lunchtime. I would recommend.

   The Sunday lunch chicken was awful, like it had been roast for days on end. The beef was similar to supermarket sliced beef with gravy on. The best thing about the meal was the service and the drinks.

   Really good food - well cooked and hot. Very crowded and rather noisy, but calmed down around 2.30 pm.

   What a gem of a place, booked here to celebrate a birthday lunch with my partner. We both had the same steak on sourdough it was absolutely stunning 😍. Staff were amazing and attentive. Beautiful pub. Looking forward to returning

   Another great meal at The Ship. We did the Valentine's 5 course meal which was incredible value and service was excellent and friendly as usual. Look forward to coming back.

    From entering the establishment we were greeted with a very warm welcome. we were able to have a leisurely drink prior to our meal and was also offered the opportunity to have our meal earlier. the food was delicious and the service was very efficient and the staff were very polite and friendly. will definitely be returning again.
