   Delicious. I tried a vegetarian option for Sunday lunch for a change but didn’t feel I’d missed out. It was plentiful and yummy.

   A really light and open pub with very friendly staff. Sunday lunch was exceptional but leave room for desert. Good range of beers and good value given the very high quality of the food. We’ll definitely be coming back.

   Fantastic food, in a super atmosphere. Staff really attentive and efficient. Its now a busy pub and restaurant so booking ahead is essential, a good sign. Highly recommended.

   we always enjoy our Thursday visits to the Ship Inn for their theme meals however last Thursday one of the Main dishes was really not up to their usual standard. my Husband ordered the Oxtail on Risotto which was mor like Oxtail flavoured risotto. a large bone in the middle of the plate that had practically no meat on it. this resulted in a disappointing outing. the service as usual was spot on.

   Service was friendly and efficient. Food was amazing, very tasty - had the slow roasted lamb. Portion size was great. Will definitely be returning soon.

    We found the food ok, reasonable value, but what let the place down was poor service. Took an eternity to take our order and also to bring dessert. We ended up going to the bar to pay in the end because we were tired of waiting.
