Composed along the expanse of Swansea Bay, flanked by the Gower Peninsula and Brecon Beacons, within striking distance of the fertile valleys, coastal plains and farmland of West Wales, the Waterfront City of Swansea sits at the beating heart of nature’s larder. Bounties of the season from land, sea and pasture are at our fingertips.
Our daily changing menus reflect a constant creative evolution, making use of local produce at the very place and moment of their seasonal prime. This begins in the kitchen and is realised at the table; Egalitarian, convivial and accessible to all. Full in heart and generous of spirit.

    Excellent as always in every way Attentive staff who know the way to treat guests with professionalism and courtesy Wonderful food and drinks matched in small measures as I am a lone diner. I am always positioned on a discreet table where I can see most diners I love it here !

    We went to celebrate my partner’s birthday. The whole experience was outstanding. It really made his day. We had a brilliant time the two staff that served us were both engaging and entertaining and knowledgeable of the food and their roles towards the public. Can’t praise them enough for making it a Very Special Day.

    Food was only average and quite expensive The specials that were advertised were quickly wiped off so that by the time we ordered what we had wanted to order was no longer available - bearing in mind that our table was booked at 6.45, it was rather early for this to be the case.

    Delicious overall ,from the quail , the Gower lamb was sweet and succulent and the pavlova was perfect . The wine was perfect and the ambience was great for a nice lunch .

    We’re on holiday driving through England and Wales, and so far The Shed is the dining highlight of the trip. It’s a comfortable space, service was lovely and excellent, and every dish we tried was outstanding. Highly recommend, and if I come back to Swansea this will be my first stop.

    Good local menu, slightly disappointed that my asparagus was over grilled and cooked and small things missing eg no bread with mussels and biscuit/small Welsh cake with coffee
