    A wonderful evening for a group of eight for drinks and side plates, seated in the bar area. Fantastic service, great atmosphere and friendly crowd. Despite being a busy evening with office xmas party bookings, we were so well looked after and the bar staff very attentive to our eclectic drinks orders! Highly recommend as a lovely locals pub and great for special occasions too.

    We were there last Friday for a birthday. We had a very nice table assigned, superb ambience. Service was very attentive and food was delicious. The waiter brought a cake organised by one of the guests with candles lit. Our birthday party was perfect!

    Your Amy Winehouse server was loveley but then left after we ordered and service and food went down hill from there. Your manager tried replacing the roast with a marginally better roast beef but it was still over cooked and under seasoned. Comp drink still didn’t make up for it. Won’t be returning

    We enjoyed a very tasty dinner on Sunday evening. We all chose a roast, and the food was very good and the price reasonable. All the staff who looked after us were great: attentive, polite, and knowledgeable about the menu. The pub was very clean, and comfortable. I would certainly eat at the Rushmere again.

    Great food, good service and good value for money. Eating outdoors on an autumnal day was very pleasant (the heaters and blankets helped as well)

    Food was very good. Mix up in the kitchen and mains arrived before the starters and one of the mains took a long time to arrive. Server was very apologetic and removed some items from the bill without prompting. Good service and good food. Would return.

    We were a group of 12 people with two guide dogs. We had booked a table for Sunday lunch and half of us had the roasts and others had various starters and mains. The staff couldn't do enough for us, service was impeccable and the food was top quality. All of us thoroughly enjoyed the pub, the decor and vibe was very good. We shall be returning to The Rushmere soon.
