   The set lunch is outstanding value for excellent food, served in the informal bar area if you have a dog, by lovely staff. If only they could change the music tape, not overpowering, but 'Funky Town' and abstract trumpet jazz. Really? So it says a lot about the quality of the food that we keep going back. Don't know about the main menu, mains course £40 so check their web site. But lunch is fantastic.

   We had the tasting menu, it was the best food I have had in a very long time. Good portion sizes. Lovely service. Would highly recommend.

   The best restaurant in the Ribble valley, by far. There's no alternative and no question. The Rum Fox is second to none and in the 10+ visits I've had to the restaurant there's not been a single issue with the food, service or ambience. After visiting tonight for Mother's day I'm even more delighted than ever. The menu is incredible. The food is insane and not at all overpriced and the people there are so talented. I watched the chefs cooking and preparing and I was so in awe of how much attention to detail goes into the dishes and how clean and careful everyone was. Such an amazing experience.

   Another unbelievably superb 7 course tasting menu second in one month. This restaurant is fantastic. I truly wish the best for the owners and the staff. The kitchen is on display and their professionalism and quiet calm is amazing. Ramsay should pay a visit and would learn a thing or two! Don’t hesitate. Book it.
