   Beautiful restaurant, welcoming, warm with gorgeous interior. Very stylish. I was expecting the food to be special, it was very good but not special. My cheese soufflé was yummy but my chips were not the best with brown bits which I had to cut out. The roasted veg were not what I was expecting. I was expecting something similar to what I make myself, caramelised, a few shallots, half a beetroot etc maybe served with some yoghurt and chopped flat leaf parsley. It was boring with basic veg and needed cooking more to caramelise. My sticky toffee pudding was really delicious.

   The food was amazing - ox cheek pudding / chicken bacon and tarragon sauce . Chips and veg . My husband had the potato wedges which he said were very good Had sticky toffee pudding desert which was yummy . It was our anniversary and we were presented with a lovely signed plate with homemade meringues which was lovely . The staff member who served us was polite and attentive . Been here 4 times now and the place never disappoints. Amazing 🤩

   Excellent food at the Rum Fox, with lovely staff , probably slightly more expensive than other restaurants, lovely waitresses looking after us. It was a very enjoyable evening , one negative issue nothing to do with place or staff, customers on table close by were quite loud and their conversation could be heard throughout the bar area.

    Lovely food and welcome. Looked after from the moment we arrived. Not the cheapest but delicious meal and celebration for my husbands birthday. We ate in the bar as not so keen on more formal dining - it was perfect for us.
