   A lovely meal which we thoroughly enjoyed. A busy pub which was good to see and for a birthday treat was just what I was looking for. The only thing I would say is the overall cost. For my birthday then it was OK but if you went for a meal that wasn't for a special occasion then it was expensive.

   Celebrating a 25th Wedding Anniversary with friends. Two of the party had 8ox fillet steaks which were superb. Would recommend the Pak Choi & Tenderstem Brocolli just delicious. Two of the party had Tapas dishes. A very enjoyable evening as always.

   The meal and evening were, as usual, of a very high quality. There were no scraps left at our table! Unfortunately, you can't do much to quieten nosy neighbours! For a Tuesday evening, it was packed. So that shows the quality of the venue

   Great food .The only thing I don’t like is when you pay ,the electronic payment asks for a gratuity which I find intrusive if I want to leave a tip , I will . Otherwise it was a very enjoyable evening .

    It was Mothers Day so yes very busy. We arrived & were initially told we were sitting at a high table (my mum is 86yrs old & not able to be climbing a high stool) so had to say no. After trying to sort a table was sat outside kitchen door & till area. DO NOT sit at this table if you can choose. We were under continous observation & once we had eaten were approached 3/4 times to see if we needed anything else or ask if we had finished. I was still eating my ice cream!!! It made us all feel very uncomfortable & as if we were being pushed to finish & leave. I didn't mention thus to the head waiter guy. Ordered 2 Royal roasts & a turkey roast which as always was delicious. Was a disappointing visit on this occasion just because of how we were made to feel. It was very obvious you needed the table back.
