   We were hoping to reserve I. The dining room but told it was closed even though the website said it was open. I then reserved for the pub as it was my birthday. When we arrived we were told they don’t do reservations and then got a table near some kids which were loud. I would have thought a reservation at the pub (they called me to confirm) would have reserved a great seat near the fire and not around kids. The waitress was polite but was not efficient. The saving grace was the food from the kitchen.

   Very disappointed. I tried several times to contact the restaurant understand where I had made my reservation. I wanted to ensure that it was at the restaurant, not the pub however no one got back to me and I even tried to message on OpenTable. I I also tried to call to cancel my reservation due to the fact that no one got back to me and I wasn’t able to do it unless I contacted the restaurant directly and again no one was answering the phones or calling me back so my credit card that I used to hold the reservation was charged. This is not customer service.

   Our waiter was really friendly and the food was fantastic. Went for New Years and really joyed the experience.

   Food was amazing. Pastry chefs desert was out of this world apple cheesecake!!! Thank you Emily! Waiter Andy was excellent re the food knowledge and just all around service. Out of this world Andy! Thank you for all of your expertise! It was truly a great time! Everyone had a wonderful evening! Pasquale and Linda.

   Our server was always on top of everything, he even accommodated for the ones sharing the steak cooking them separately their own terms.

   We booked Windermere for Thanksgiving and were very excited about thanksgiving dinner, especially because the chef was excellent in the summer. Unfortunately, we sat down at 6:45 and our server said they did have a thanksgiving dinner but an earlier table was given all the white meat so only dark meat remained. We were really disappointed and surprised given it was. Not late in the evening. Feels like poor planning if you run out of the most popular turkey on thanksgiving so early. My husband’s steak was great and we had the pear hazelnut dessert that was also great! The pastry chef is excellent!

    For our 43rd anniversary we chose The Rosseau for a dinner celebration. We were given a spectacular table by the window with a breathtaking view of Lake Rosseau. Our server was wonderful and made our dinner experience memorable. Excellent food and ambience. We will be back!
