   Lovely village pub, great ambience, lots of wonky beamed ceiling and floorboards. The staff were very welcoming and on the ball. My husband chose a burger because he'd read a review which said it was the best gluten free burger they'd eaten and he agreed. My bouillabaise was delicious and it was too much for me to finish, very satisfying!

   We were sat in a spot right by a speaker with 2 very loud tables around us which made hearing each other tricky ish. But food was delicious and big portions for the price. One of our party was delighted to find ribs on starter menu! The specials were great Team made service efficient and effortless.

   An excellent evening with great company and in a lovely setting. The food was amazing and was enjoyed by all. Thank you Dan and his staff for making our evening so special.

   I took the trouble to reserve a table 3 weeks in advance and I wondered why I bothered. Ended up stuck in an empty large room with as much atmosphere as Mars. I booked a pub and got very different experience. Shame really because the food was good and I would’ve gone again but not now taking into account the total lack of any pub ambience.

    We had a lovely family meal in the restaurant. The specials menu was great, my husband and I had fish, which was delicious. Our children had bolognaise and a chicken burger. All extremely tasty, thanks for a great night.
