   River House definitely makes amazing food and is high quality as always. Our only notes were that for a New Years Eve dinner, we wish there had been some more festive aspects, which we had hoped for in making the reservation to separate the experience from a regular nice dinner out. The Valet also closed early which was unexpected and one of our party had to leave the dinner table to go get his keys and then got locked out. Would encourage River House to consider holidays like New Years and creating an ambience and environment that bring the celebration more to life (eg decor, champagne toast, etc).

   Even with a busy New Year’s Eve night, the service, speed of food, quality of the appetizers and entrées were incredible. The cucumber red wine vinaigrette for the oysters was a game changer.

   Excellent spot when in Nashville. Started with some drinks, they were stiff. I got an old fashioned my wife had a Pinot. Bar staff is friendly, drinks were as to be expected. Started with some oysters and shrimp cocktail for apps, which were fresh and well garnished with fixings. Those oysters were outstanding, light, sweet, & fresh. Wife got the halibut, gluten free with lump crab on top. I got the Filet, and we split the family style sides, oven roasted Brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes (all GF with the exception of the steak sauce) the steak was spectacular, perfect cook and the sauce is insane 10/10 highly recommend the house filet. My wife really enjoyed the shrimp cocktail. Her halibut was slightly overdone by she said it had great flavor and really enjoyed the crab. She was a little bummed the steak sauce was not gluten free, so she couldn’t try my entree. The mashed potatoes are extra creamy and smooth and the brussel sprouts were great, although nothing special they were well cooked, crispy and fresh so they were well enjoyed. Service and ambiance was great, no complaints - modern contemporary upscale vibes, but not too stuffy. Not too crowded, tables are all well spaced apart. We will be coming back to the river house again next time we’re in Nashville. Value for quality of food and service is satisfactory, if you are in the mood for something a little more upscale, but reasonable, you won’t be disappointed.

   Great experience at River Hills. The staff was excellent and took care of the customer. Food was good, not outstanding but good.

   We adore River House. It's easy to get in and out with valet and has the most fun atmosphere. They've been having a pianist perform lately and it's perfection. Food / service / experience makes it one of my top 3 places to dine in Nashville.

    This was such an amazing experience. Very elegant decor and vibe. They had a piano player and the music was tasteful and appropriate for the environment. The ribeye was hands-down the best dish I’ve had in years! I highly recommend the whipped mashed potatoes and Mac and Cheese! The service was incredible and the overall experience was wonderful! I will definitely be going back!
