We really enjoyed the ambience and the service. We walked in with high expectations given the fact this is a Ritz restaurant. Our first impression of the place was great, very elegant, and excellent service. Mi wife’s Cosmo was very well made. My cocktail was a take on the classic Negroni, however it disappointed as it was extremely sweet. We had oysters and a burrata for appetizers. Oysters were really nice. The burrata salad lacked olive oil and tomatoes were very bland. For main course, pastas. Both were meh… my wife’s lobster agnolotti were barely warm. Pannacotta tasted like cinnamon oatmeal, instead of a milky dessert. It was very well presented though. We’ve been to Italy many times and understand that replicating such flavors with American ingredients is hard, but we were expecting much more for a Ritz hotel restaurant. For us, not worth the price tag.

We may have just come on a bad day. The food was good and the hostess and manager were very nice. Unfortunately, it took over 40 minutes for any of our breakfast to be served. When it was, it was set in front of customers at a different table, before being brought to us. My wife's oatmeal was warm, but mine was just a tick above room temperature. To top it off, our server literally never returned to our table after taking our order. I can believe this place is better than what we experienced.

Style and stellar service can't make up for underwhelming cuisine at Knife Italian Steak. While the attentive, friendly staff creates an upscale atmosphere, the astronomical prices ($670 for five people) set expectations that the kitchen fails to meet. The $58 lobster ravioli, like other dishes, looks Instagram-worthy but lacks the depth of flavor one expects at this price point. The fried gnocchi preparation puzzles, while cocktails ranging from $25-55 further inflate the bill without justifying their premium pricing. Credit where it's due: the service team delivers impeccably. However, while Knife Italian Steak nails the aesthetics and hospitality, your considerable budget would be better spent elsewhere - at these prices, the food should be memorable for more than just its cost.

We had an early reservation for lunch and our regular table was ready. The Gem salad with salmon was very good and added a side dish of pasta All washed down with the wonderful hot tea properly prepared with boiling water. Our proficient server, Alexis, knew our needs well and expertly filled them. The lunch crowd is starting to to come back to this outstanding venue so reservations are a must

Knife was very busy today to the extent that our regular table went missing! Brandon, however, saved the day by quickly organizing our backup. Everything returned to normal ,thankfully when our superlative server, Alexis, came on the scene. We ordered a new dish, Italian

I felt like dinner was rushed. My salad arrived before the amuse bouche a very nice soup. I had three courses and was done in an hour.

Food was solid, nothing amazing. Pasta felt tough and it was cold within 2 minutes of being on the table (I think bc the plates are made of stone so they suck the heat out of the food). Also, the waitress was just not friendly whatsoever and was slightly rude.

Delightful celebratory lunch with friends at the awesome KNIFE at the RITZ. Our regular server, Alexis promptly greeted us and facilitated our orders. We started with delicious croissants, buttery in the French fashion. Next came scrambled eggs with jalapeños and chives. Followed by wonderful smoked salmon served with capers and red onions. Boiling hot ENGLISH BREAKFAST tea washed everything down. Knife is a memorable luncheon venue!

We love Sunday Brunch at the Knife. The service is competent and friendly, especially our favorite, Alexis who is superb. We had Scrambled Eggs with Chives & Jalapeños,accompanied by delicious croissants in the French buttery fashion. Smoked Salmon with red onions and capers added to our enjoyment. This was all washed down by cups of excellent tea made correctly with boiling water. Our Sunday Brunch has been a delight for many years and the Ritz ambience has only embellished it more.

We had been clients of the On the Green ( Four Seasons ) since they opened . And we compared the quality and experience we were used to. This was our first time there since the change to Ritz Carlton /Knife Italian . We had been many times at Fearings in Downtown Ritz . We were expecting that quality of food and experience., as well as the one at On the Green . It was not even close . We didn’t finish the food we ordered . Service was quite slow. We could see there was not enough trained staff. Disappointing experience. We will wait a while before we come back to give some time for hopeful improvements. We live in the neighborhood and really hope the hotel and restaurant are very successful. Thank you
