A group of 4 of us had lunch for a work function. We really enjoyed the food, but the waiter (couldn't tell you his name) made a few sarcastic comments as he was serving us. It made the atmosphere a bit awkward, considering we were welcoming a new colleague to the company. It was fine, but I would have expected a bit more self-awareness from the waiter.

We booked a table for 20:30 for 8 people and once arrived were told that the kitchen closes at 20:45. Half of our party did not manage to even order food.

The food was below average and expensive. The risotto main course was very small for the price. The burger was dry. A real disappointment and I won’t be coming back.

A classier wetherspoons - setting is nice but availability of plates and presentation coule be much improved

My team enjoyed our Xmas do at the Refinery, the atmosphere and music was too our liking. The food generally was ok, but it's always not going to be to everyone liking due to large number of people being served. The Christmas pudding needed more custard, which was quite sparse. In general we had a really good time. Will definitely go back to have the daily menu.

The Refinery was busy even on a Tuesday evening. All started well with an espresso martini. The mini sliders were also tasty and the complimentary kombucha was a surprise. However, it took several minutes to get the attention of the waitress to order my food and the same to get the bill. I ended up putting my coat on and paying at the bar.
