The meal. Was very enjoyable and the locals we very friendly The ale was very good and looked after Which is important if you are a real ale person and you had a choice of ale aswell

Lovely old pub with fantastic attentive staff. Enjoyed a good hearty meal and live acoustic entertainment.

Lovely country pub with very welcoming staff. However found the vegetable korma curry a little disappointing as it contained mostly potato.

Very good customer service, friendly atmosphere with excellent entertainment and food. Very attentive to customers needs. Good parking. Will recomend for all occassions. Fantastic way to start the new year.

Generally disappointing, the real ale was very good but the menu was limited and food disappointing with only two meat choices for Sunday lunch.

rare to find a proper pub that retains its character and charm AND has a great pub menu and quality food. Friendly service, great range of beers, cosy ambience and nice gardens front and rear.

Quick friendly service. Reserved table was by the fire. Lamb shanks were really good. Thoroughly enjoyable..
