Prime Rib is a contemporary fine dining restaurant, blending a historic steakhouse and cocktail lounge with distinctive twists. Highly personalized touches include a curated selection of steak knives presented to diners prior to entrees arriving and tableside cocktail creation based on guests’ preferences.     Very disorganized for the NYE experience! We waited an hour for our reservation that we paid $100 up front for. No communication at all. Service was very slow, there was no favors that was promised. The food and drinks were good as always although I ordered a medium well steak that came out medium rare. I just will not be booking an experience with them any time soon.

    Had a reservation for NYE dinner at The Prime Rib. The venue is beautifully decorated, with dark and rich tones. Service started out well but as the evening progressed it seemed a little chaotic and we saw our server less and less, ultimately waiting 20+ minutes between visits to get another round of drinks and someone else ended up closing us out. The signature cut prime rib and New York strip steak was good but the halibut special I ordered was extremely overdone and so dried out I could barely finish the last few ounces, which was a shame given it was priced at $70. The side dishes were 3/5, and could have used more flavoring, and were also very small in serving size. The cocktails were decent, but I’ve had much better at other steak houses in the city. I’d be willing to give it a try again on another night that is not as busy to see how it is.

    Always a great dinner but New Year’s Eve service was not quite up to standard. Never followed up on coffee and dessert. Not much attentiveness paid and added in 20% gratuity which they never do for a table of 4.

    Service and food were very good however, we were seated right next to the kitchen and had to listen to the servers yelling “corner or coming out” through our entire meal. It was not a pleasant way to spend Christmas dinner. When we asked to move we were told there were no open tables. There were several open tables. For the money I paid I expected better ambiance. I would definitely go back but would insist on a better table or leave.

    My only complaint was that my steak had to be sent back because it was not well done.

    food was outstanding and the service even better. 4th time here and never disappointed. it is pricey but overall worth it especially for an occasion.
