   The ambiance and service of this place is unmatched! IT is such a beautiful setting in a historic home. The food quality is 5 stars, but the portions for the fancier entree items at dinner are incredibly small (compared to other restaurant pricing). I think this is related to the farm-sourced ingredients, which are naturally more expensive than wholesale distributor pricing. Overall, would recommend! Especially their brunch :)

   Pricey but excellent. Beautiful old house setting. Owner engaging and informative. Service was excellent. Menu to change next month. Plan to go to try it out.

   Everything was great but I use open table all the time and it asks reason for visiting such as birthday, anniversary, date night which I usually always answer and most restaurants acknowledge what type of celebration it may be. It would be nice if this place would have did the same.

   Porch Poor is a gem in Midlothian! It is a wonderful Farm to Market restaurant in a beautiful restored Victorian house. Their beef is from the owner's Uncle's Farm in North Texas. Highly suggest you try the Beef Cigars! I had their ribeye steak with Brussels Sprouts and Acorn Squash and it was delicious! It is our favorite place in Midlothian. Worth a visit.

   Fantastic classy farm to table restaurant. Extensive cocktail menu, creative and delicious appetizers. Absolutely top notch service..classic old school cozy bar. Amazing history on the building itself..a gem in Midlothian.

   Very niche and cool. The service was “meh” at best. The Irish coffee was a lukewarm shot of whiskey with cold whip cream. The food is ok, but nothing to write home about, and not hot by the time it was served. If you have any feedback don’t expect the manager to leave the office to engage. Overall it is an experience, but not worth the trouble to go back. Pretty disappointing for us.

   I want to apologize this was your experience dining with us. For complete honesty, we were short in the kitchen and the FOH Manager had to assist there much of the morning. Our goal is to touch every table and I am sorry that didn't happen when you were dining with us. I sincerely wanted to apologize from my team and myself and we do hope you give us another chance.

    We had a wonderful experience in this beautiful Victorian House; not only is the restaurant a sight to see, but the food is excellent, and the service was one of a kind. We enjoyed mama’s biscuits, French toast, and the cowboy hash.
