   The meat share plate was $65 each for a minimum of 4 people, there were 5 of us so we thought great we will get that, but no it is only for 4 people. The 5th person had to order their won meal. The menu needs to say that it is for 4 people not a minimum of 4. Otherwise the meat was amazing and cooked to perfection. Wait staff were very friendly and helpful.

   Unfortunately our experience at The Plate was pretty poor. We have been there several times and this time it was so much worse than the last few times. We had great table service but when it came to the food we were pretty disappointed. A children's fish & chips came out really quickly tho we hadn't even received our simple appetizer - and didn't for another 10 minutes. Then our shared mains came out it was another 20 odd minutes after that. Unfortunately the meat quality wasn't really up to our expectations. Specifically the beef sparerib was very fatty undercooked & tough. Unfortunately it might be awhile before we are back, the value just isn't there now. Maybe the locals already know some of this as it was very quiet for a Saturday night.

   Such good food! Was not a surprise to see chef Russell Armstrong working in the background.. Toowoomba is lucky to have him. We drive up from Marburg because the menu is great the service is great and it’s reliable. Table of 5.. every dish licked clean x

   excellent service and very good food. some imperfections with the steak but staff addressed it quickly and well. Food overall was good, and environment and service amazing.

   Celebrating our sons 18th birthday Service was excellent and the food was wonderful Will be back for the next special event so the plate is always going to be where we go for those events that need to be perfect Have fun team and thanks again for making it special

   We had a lovely dinner at The Plate last night. Outstanding service from the young man who waited on our table. Our meal was excellent. Thank you, we will be back.

    Staff were fantastic. Meals were great! We had the 550g share Wagyu Rib. Only thing would be ditch chips and replace with chats potatoes. Extensive wine list. Nice night with my lovely!
