   Such a lovely setting to have afternoon tea here. Positive: There’s a choice of vegetarian or carnivore menu which we very much appreciated. We each got a pot of tea, though it was significantly smaller than what other guests got (I assume it was due to our party being too large and there not being enough table space). The tea was delicious, the food tasty and the variety was lovely. Negative: The service seemed at times annoyed and clipped. Every time we interacted, they turned on their heel almost before our exchange was finished. The empty dishes started piling up and as the new drinks kept coming we had to ask for things to be taken away. Water was continuously poured though. All in all lovely, the food definitely delightful, but the service lacking. This has been my second time there and am disappointed after the first time was such an amazing experience. I will try a new place the next time around.

   Hatten für Afternoon Tea reserviert. Es wird nirgends darauf hingewiesen, dass man vegetarischen Afternoon Tea vorbestellen muss, Service am Rande der Unfreundlichkeit. Mittelmäßige Sandwich-Qualität.

   eclectic ambiance, it felt like a small private club hidden away in Central London - a much enjoyed break from the hustle and bustle of Oxford Street. The food quality was extremely good. The Christmas themed Afternoon Tea had just the right amount of festive twists injected to the sandwiches and scones to be special without being over-the-top. We will definitely be returning.

   Went here for afternoon tea. It’s a very cozy space with friendly and attentive staff. Everything was clean and well kept. Everything we ate was delicious and portions were generous. I especially loved the scones, which were too filling for us to even finish. I would definitely return.

   The place is still very cozy and beautiful, however, i was not very pleased with this year's experience. I have been going to this venue for years but since my last episode in January, also not too convincing, this time it was even more basic, the hot savoury food was absolutely minimal and not at all pleasant, the cakes were, apart from one, very average, the scones were the only nice thing of it all. We were given a small dish of clotted crem for 6 scones, and even tinier jam, never offered more water for the tea, or replenish drinks, the waiter only came once in 2 and a half hours. We (3 of us) found that despite the price increase, the whole experience was poor! Will not be going back any time soon.. such a pity, the tea parlour under different management was amazing!!

   We had a really nice experience here. The hotel is lovely and has at the same time a homey and classy feel. The service was wonderful and the staff very attentive. The tea top up was our favourite thing and the food was exquisite.

    Nous sommes venus pour l’afternoon tea, l’ambiance est très jolie et le personnel plutôt agréable. En revanche je mets un gros bémol concernant les éléments sucrés du menus qui n’étaient vraiment pas terribles, les sandwichs et les scones étaient bons. Un repas mitigé pour un prix salé (110£ pour 2 afternoon tea)…
