    A very disappointing evening. We had an attentive waiter for about 5 minutes and then he disappeared. The lobster bisque ($18) was not warm enough and more like a Newberg Sauce than a bisque. Bread isn’t the good bread from the real Palm days. Also disappointing. I had the prime rib (special for the holiday season) which was ordinary and way too fatty. I would say half of the slice was fat. Ordered the creamed spinach as a side. I was so creamy there was barely any spinach. Took half my meal home, maybe by magic it will improve overnight!

    After not getting our food 90 minutes in to our seating we had to leave just as the food arrives in order to make our show. We told the first waiter who took our drink order but the second waiter said he didn’t know and stated that they had a large party as the reason of the delay. One bite of the filet and it was dry as well. Signed, Very disappointed and hungry.

    This restaurant continues to deliver exceptional value. The staff is professional and considerate. The food is very good and the setting is cozy. Our waiter, Craig was excellent. He is probably the best waiter that I have experienced in the past six months. Truly outstanding. We will continue to be repeat customers and look forward to coming back soon.

    A friend and I came for lunch pre theatre and had a wonderful unhurried experience. We enjoyed our entrees of linguine with clam sauce (huge clams!) and Cobb salad with jumbo lump crab meat: seafood in both dishes were generous. So much so that we ended up sharing the dessert of carrot cake. Good thing as it was a huge slice! We’ll have to come back next time for the steaks.

    The best oysters I have had and the Waygu and Frites were melt in your mouth. Delicious zeppole topped it all off!

    I have been dining at the Palm for many years. I dined there so often in Tampa that they put my face on the wall. I eat at the NYC location probably once a month. Love the food, although the bread and some desserts have gone down hill since the new owner took over. I would rate this a 4 or 5 but today my wife and I had the worst and slowest service I have ever experienced at the Palm. Our waiter took our order and delivered my salad, and then disappeared. Eventually our mains were brought to the table, but once again no wait service. We waited 30 -45 minutes for dessert and a check. Very disappointing for a fine steakhouse.
