   Had to explain to the bartender how martini was made, and that you don’t put a shot of vermouth in it. Q stop stop stop come leave it. I ordered a steak, medium rare. It came out medium. Well I sent it back. It came out, medium well and tough as a boot we will not be returning.

   Love this place! Has history and beautiful decor! Staff is always very pleasant with amazing service! I have never been disappointed with any of the food. Brussel sprouts are one of my favorites and the black and blue pasta! Thanks to the team for always reaching perfection!

   I love the Jailhouse - they helped craft a great experience for my family who came from out of town. The food was spot on, service was outstanding and they gave us a private jail cell room to make it memorable.

   We had an absolute wonderful time. Nice, diverse menu with healthy options. Allergy friendly. The appetizers were delicious. We shared the beet salad and the calamari between us. We had more than enough for three people. The entrées were terrific. My husband had the shrimp and ended up taking half home. There was so much. So delicious it may not be left for him when he goes to look for it later. My friend had a pasta dish that I don’t remember. But she loved it and took some home as well. I had the salmon and arugula salad and ate every bite. The cocktails were wonderful. Our server was efficient, friendly, and very knowledgeable. We loved hearing stories about the origin of the restaurant, and the fact that it’s haunted! Even though it’s an hour away, we will definitely make the trip into Sanford here again. And will bring more friends!

   Very nice restaurant enjoy the fun 1800’s jail look. It takes you back in time. I love the beet salad , the entrees are yummy, and the drinks are very cool. I’d recommend to anyone seeking good food and a very unique atmosphere.
