   Great selection of dishes and specialty pizzas. Mussels were exceptional. A little on the pricey side but “normal” for St Ives. Cosy and v good service.

   Thoroughly enjoyable evening, fantastic food, best Tiramisu we’ve ever had and attentive welcoming staff. Looking forward to a return visit.

   We absolutely love coming here every time we visit Cornwall. Such a lovely dog friendly spot with lovely staff and amazing food!

   Have eaten here quite a few times now. Unfortunately the food and service did not live up to today's expectations - I had booked a while ago and mentioned it was for a birthday. We requested water for the table, which came, but there were no glasses! After asking, these arrived. However, we waited an hour for a small flat bread with two dips to share, which at £15 seems over priced. There was a further delay before the main course was served. We all found the lunch to be mediocre and nothing to rave about. It was reasonably busy but sadly no member of staff apologised or explained why there was a long wait. Needless to say, on this occasion, I asked for the service charge to be removed.

   Our favourite restaurant in our local area. As always, an outstanding selection of wines to accompany an eclectic, but interesting menu. Food is top quality and presented well by attentive friendly staff.

    Visited the old forge for a Sunday roast today. Absolutely stunning! Best roast I’ve had in ages. The beef was delicious and the vegetables were to die for! Staff very lovely and friendly. Didn’t wait long to get served. Sat in the courtyard in the sunshine. Was the perfect afternoon. Highly recommended.
