   We were disappointed with our meal, when given our menus we were told that there was no Chicken Supreme, Steak Pie or Burger on the menu. This left little that I wanted, however I did have 3 small plates instead of a main course. The Orzo Carbonara and the Parma Ham Croquette both were heavy covered in grated parmesan which overpowered the taste. The staff were very helpful and friendly but the restaurant lacked any warmth or ambience.

   Based on some recent reviews I was apprehensive as first time dining here. However our experience was very positive. Ambient temperature was very comfortable tables are not crammed in , plenty space between other diners and very comfortable seating. From arrival we were treated to a high standard of customer service, attention and courtesy by every member of staff. Food portions , presentation and taste were very good. I will have no concerns about dining here again and based on our experience can recommend to others

   Slow to take order, drinks only arrived with the starter. Starter of scallops and black pudding was amazing, pizza tasteless and mostly bare, topping only in middle with lots of dough around the outside. Lamb shank needed a ton of seasoning. Didn’t bother to order dessert. Could have been so much better.

   Amazing food. Great company. Incredible service … staff could not have been nicer. Lovely atmosphere and such a good place to catch up with friends for food and drinks. Could not fault it one bit.

    We visited for the first time after being gifted a voucher. Upon arrival it was warm, welcoming and staff were quick to seat us. The first part of the restaurant looked lovely and had nice ambience., however we were seated through the back where it was extremely bright and squeezed into a corner table for 2. The side benches were higher than the table which was rather uncomfortable and not very relaxing. It was busy so took 15 minutes to get our drinks order taken. The food was quick enough and nicely presented with average taste. There were no condiments on the table or offered, so we had to request salt n pepper as did every other table round us. The salt came out in a little dish to pinch by hand. I thought that was odd. Our bottle of wine was served in water and ice but the wine wasn't chilled, so not ideal. Our main was Rib-eye Steak, cooked very nicely but could have been better seasoned. The side salad was delicious and overall we were pleased with the food. Staff were lovely & polite.
