    As visitors ro Newport we loved the Mooring. The food was excellent! Our Server was very attentive and quick. Our party of 9 loves our visit!

    Mussel appetizer was very good, sauce was different, I prefer a white wine garlic, but mussels were very fresh. We shared the prime steak for two, it was a hearty portion, cooked perfectly medium as requested. The steak was very tender, nice outer crust, delicious. Meal was served with nicely seasoned vegetable assortment. Our server was very good, nice pace as well. I thought this might be a tourist trap, water view with sub par food, not the case, very enjoyable.

    Mooring is an excellent restaurant. Food is always good and in the summer months, the outside dining is terrific. Tables spaces nicely. Service is always excellent.

    Beautiful water view and outstanding service. All the food was excellent except the fried calamari was a little oily to my liking but still good..will definitely go back next time in town.
