Old Town Scottsdale’s heart beats to a Latin drum at The Mission where renowned Chef Matt Carter (Zinc Bistro and Fat Ox) brings a modern twist to Latin cuisine blending influences from Spain, Mexico, Central America and South America.

Sip a signature margarita with unique flavors such as cucumber jalepeno or aguacate (yes, we said avocado) as you watch your Tableside Guacamole made to your taste from more than a dozen fresh ingredients.

Home made tortillas, and salsas are made fresh daily to accompany an assortment of meats and seafood prepared on a Plancha or a grill using pecan and mesquite wood that instills a rich flavor. And save room for dessert including our pumpkin bread pudding or expresso churros.

The Mission is outstanding. From the guacamole made tableside to the fabulous margaritas and seasonal flavors, we loved every bite and every minute. The Mission team made the experience memorable and we felt like our experience was important to each of them. That is so rare now! We cant wait for our next opportunity to visit The Mission and keep it on our list of must visit places when we are in Scottsdale.

My husband and I recently visited from Texas, and our experience at Mission was truly remarkable. From the moment we arrived, it felt warm and inviting, and the sensory journey we embarked on was absolutely delightful. The food was not only delicious but also comforting, and we couldn't get enough of the tasty margaritas! One highlight was the fresh guacamole made right at our table – it was simply amazing! I'm already looking forward to returning to try their brunch this Saturday. I must also mention our fantastic server, Alphonso, who went above and beyond to make our visit special. Thank you, Mission, for providing such wonderful food and a heartfelt welcome. We'll definitely be back!

The service and food were fabulous! We were seated super close to other diners on both sides which really killed the atmosphere for us. My purse was bumped over and over & this was 8 pm seating. Again, food and service great, ambiance not so great.

Wonderful but loud environment with top of the line service , which was amazing given how crowded the restaurant was. Appetizers, salsa and Guacamole were outstanding. Nice wine list with good selection of reasonably priced wines.

Amazing guacamole. Hubby and I had tacos. The skirt steak had a yummy smoked flavor but was not overpowering. I had the grilled fish tacos. We will definitely go back

Everything about the experience was exceptional - from the welcome to the interactions with servers to the tailored guacamole made tableside to your preferences (recommended) and the tacos and street corn - would highly recommend a visit. We would definitely go again!
