   Loud and very little scollop in mail and had changed no lobster on menu at restaurant but not on web site

   After reading many good reviews decided to give Miller’s Tavern a try. We were seated in a booth behind the hostess desk and found the table to be very sticky and scratched up. Our cocktails were good and I enjoyed the extra olives. Our meals did not meet our expectations- my seafood Alfredo had good flavor but pasta and sauce very sticky, scallops falling apart with little flavor. For $28.00 I expected better quality. My husband found his Asian bowl unsatisfactory as well. Vegetables were cut very large rice was dry ,very little flavor. Also, attentiveness of staff was lacking. I considered not leaving any review but thought it would be better that you know how people feel so that you are able to make improvements.

   We had a great experience as always, our waitress was excellent, I ordered the special, Bang Bang Shrimp Tacos which were excellent, please make these a regular menu item!!! Another great experience we will see you again soon.

   Decided to try someplace new and we were pleasantly surprised. Food was excellent. We especially enjoyed the short rib routine. Very comfortable seating and overall nice space. We will be back

   Overall a good experience. Definitely make a reservation if going on the weekends, glad we did for Friday night dinner the place was busy. Drinks and food were very good, the service was fine. Overall a nice stop right off the highway that’s super convenient to the Loop. Would definitely come back to try more off the menu.

   Miller's was a last minute decision after seeing they had reservations available on OpenTable. The restaurant was very busy and had a huge party of about 20 people that cauesd them to be a bit backed up, but nothing bad at all. Loved their mocktails menu (highly recommend the strawberry mock-a-rita) and the service was great. Outstanding food -- many compliments on the parmesan risotto. It was my first visit, but I'll definitely be back.

   We enjoyed the food, service and place in general but our table was being attacked by numerous flies. Instead of fully enjoying our meals, we were swatting flies away. We had one food issue and that was kids Mac and cheese. It was very bland and was more watery Mac than cheesy mac. I also asked for some acknowledgement for husband's 60th bday which was the reason for our visit but he didn't receive anything. I didn't expect anything for free there was no acknowledgement at all.

    I picked this establishment because of it's location as being equal distance from me and my sons, so we can meet to celebrate multiple family birthdays. I want to say that the staff were all terrific! Very friendly, helpful and professional. The drink selection is wonderful as is the menu and the food. We enjoyed the quality of the meals for sure. The ONE thing that made this experience less than satisfactory is the presence of flies in the dining room and the bar. This wasn't a slight annoyance, but a consistent issue the entire time we were there. We actually didn't even finish our meals because we were tired of chasing the flies away from our food. When I spoke to the manager about this, there was an apology, but the only remedy that was possibly offered is to come back when the weather is cooler. I have eaten at many restaurants that have outddor seating, as does this location, and never encountered flies hovering around the dining areas. If other establishments can offer a pleasant dining experience without having flies annoying us while we are trying to eat, then I would imagine The Miller's Tavern can do the same. Maybe their dumpsters are too close to the outside dining area.... Anyway, we won't be going back any time soon unless that issue is taken care of.
