   We were excited to try this new upscale restaurant in King, but were disappointed with the overall experience. We are providing this feedback in hopes that improvements can be made. 1) the space is small and seating is crowded. Remove some tables. 2) the ambience is dark and poorly decorated. Add light and more color. 3) the table smelled like it had been wiped off with a sour towel when we first sat down. White tablecloths would partially solve #2 and #3 above. 4) the crab dip was excellent, the filet and sirloin were goos, the scalloped potatoes were ok. It is odd to see a slab of beef hanging in a cooler in the dining room. Put it in the kitchen. 5) the servers were young and a bit nervous but did a good job and will certainly gain more confidence with time. 6) consider putting a shade on the window, as the sun was shining into our eyes for most of the dinner and added to the uncomfortable dining experience. It is our understanding that this restaurant is owned by the folks who also own Jeffrey Adams in WS. We commend you for developing this concept in King and know your extensive experience will be used for improvements at The Mercantile Chophouse.

   The ambiance was great and food was outstanding. The filet melts in your mouth. We also had the pork belly and scallops and that was delicious. Highly recommend!

   Made a reservation at The Mercantile Chophouse in King. Kelsey, our waitress, was amazing and made the experience really great. She knew her stuff! Everything she recommended was delicious! Cozy atmosphere too.🥰 Recommend!

   Quality of food was excellent. Portions were perfect. The King Colada was the best I’ve ever had. Baileys Chocolate crème Brûlée was amazing.

   Food was just OK! We had early reservations & they tried to seat us in a booth with sunlight directly in my eyes-I requested a different table & resistance from the hostess but was moved -server was on point but again nothing special about the food!

   Our first visit was on Sunday 1/5/25 and it was amazing! Everyone there was very friendly and welcoming. Our waitress was Isabell and she was fantastic! This is the first restaurant in 16 years with my wife that she actually finished every bite of food and loved it! It was our first time there but definitely not the last! Anyone that wants the absolute best steak in the area should try it.

    The food and service were excellent! It's probably one of the best steaks I have ever had in a long time. Definitely recommend! We have already made our next reservation.
